If you volunteer during the month of April doing something good for the environment (picking up trash, planting trees, planting beach grass, letter to the editor, raising awareness, etc.) come in after 1:00 pm on any day through July 22, 2018, show us proof of you volunteering (can be a photo, article, etc.), and we’ll give you 50% off any on-site kayak or paddleboard rental. (Not good with any other offer. Offer expires 7/22/2018. Only good on rentals starting after 1:00 pm. Only good on kayaks and paddleboards rented on-site.)

Fenwick Earth Day Cleanup – 4/21/18 9:00 AM
The Town of Fenwick Island Environmental Committee is sponsoring the 3rd Annual Earth Day Clean-up on Saturday, April 21, 2018. Volunteers will check in at Town Hall at 9:00 a.m. for coffee and refreshments followed by a town clean-up. All clean-up supplies will be provided along with giveaways and door prizes for participants. All streets from the Maryland/Delaware state line through the Town of Fenwick Island will be included in this year’s clean-up. Everyone is encouraged to join in this community wide event to keep Fenwick Island litter-free.
Inaugural “Keep the Quiet Resorts Beautiful” Community Clean-up – 4/21/18 8:00 – 3:00
Join the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce in celebrating Earth Month at the inaugural “Keep the Quiet Resorts Beautiful” community clean-up! In partnership with Republic Services and the Inland Bays Garden Center, individuals, families, businesses, non-profits, and community groups alike are invited to celebrate Earth Day by adopting and cleaning a section of roadway throughout coastal Sussex County.
Groups of 5 or more can adopt a 1/4 stretch of roadway, collecting trash and recycling debris on the side of the road. Don’t have a group? No problem! We’ll pair you with a group of like-minded neighbors as we work collectively to keep our area beautiful!
