Level 1 ACA Instructor, ACA Trip Leader, Certified in Wilderness First Aid. Bob would spend every waking minute in a kayak if he could. He is an expert on the Assateague backcountry (among other things!). Bob has been with Coastal Kayak since 2008.
Level 2 ACA Stand up Paddleboard Instructor, Level 2 ACA Kayak Instructor, ACA Trip Leader, Certified in Wilderness First Aid, Sailing Instructor. If Jim isn’t at Coastal Kayak you can find him on his bike or fishing from his kayak. Jim has been with Coastal Kayak since 2007.
Level 1 ACA Instructor, ACA Trip Leader, Certified in First aid & CPR. These days you’ll find Mary in the shop, answering questions and helping customers fill out paperwork – one of the cheeriest people you’ll meet! Mary’s favorite saying, “All you need is willpower!” Mary has been with Coastal Kayak since 2008.
Certified Level 1 ACA Instructor, Certified in First aid & CPR, Todd has also been a certified CK Dragger since 2009.
Justin is an ACA certified Level 1 Kayak Instructor and certified in First Aid and CPR. During the school year Justin teaches health at Millsboro Middle School. Justin has been with Coastal Kayak since 2018.
Sarah is junior high science teacher in Millsboro, Delaware. Her kids love her enthusiasm for science as much as our customers love her enthusiasm for the coastal environment! Sarah is certified in CPR and First Aid and has been with Coastal Kayak since 2006.
Tony’s list of certifications is as big as Delaware. He is an ACA certified Level 1 Kayak Instructor and certified in First Aid and CPR. And as a retired NYPD Firefighter and former NYPD Police Officer he’s been certified in everything from swift water rescues to rope retrievals. And most recently he’s working on his Coast Guard Auxiliary training. Tony has been with Coastal Kayak since 2018.
Lillie grew up on the Eastern Shore but moved out west after earning her degree in Outdoor Education at Salisbury University to indulge her love of the mountains. She’s done everything from working on a salmon fishing boat in Alaska to wrangling horses on a dude ranch in Colorado. And now she’s putting her corralling skills to work as a guide for Coastal Kayak! Lillie is an ACA Assessed Trip Leader and is CPR and First Aid certified.
