You will be amazed at this unique kayak tour! We paddle through a freshwater pond that is home to the northernmost stand of Bald Cypress in the United States. You will silently glide through a tunnel of trees as we weave our way to the furthest reaches of the pond.
Our certified kayak guides give a short instructional session before the tour and also supply all of the safety gear. We use single and tandem top-of-the-line recreational kayaks. These boats are stable, comfortable, and user-friendly. (Touring and sit-on-top kayaks are also available upon request.)
The Bald Cypress tour site is located approximately 40 minutes inland from Fenwick Island, Bethany Beach, Rehoboth, and Ocean City.
This kayak tour is suitable for all levels.
Paddling time on this kayak tour is approximately 2 hours.
The price of this guided kayak tour is $60.00 per person. Children 11-7 years old receive $10 off when accompanied by an adult at the regular price. Minimum age for the Cypress Tour is 7 years old. Children ages 7-11 must be in a tandem kayak with an adult.
We will meet you at the launch site (directions sent in confirmation email). We launch from a state park so there is a parking fee if you don’t have a Delaware State Parks Pass. The fee is $8 for out-of-state vehicles and $4 for in-state. The fee is paid at a self-serve kiosk that only accepts credit cards.
