This is a great opportunity to explore a different waterway! Originally established in colonial times – probably as a mill pond – Johnson’s Pond is currently the largest impoundment on the Eastern Shore. We’ll paddle up the pond into a feeder creek with cypress trees, cedar trees, loblollies, and hardwood trees.
Paddling time for the Johnson’s Pond Tour is 1.5-2 hours. We meet at the launch location for this tour which is off of Rose Street in Salisbury.
The price of the Johnson’s Pond Kayak Tour is $55 per person, $45 for kids 7-11 when accompanied by an adult. (Kids ages 7-11 must go in a tandem kayak with an adult).
