Coastal Kayak Cancellation/Refund Policy on Tours:

Cancellation Policy: To ensure the best experience possible, Coastal Kayak limits the number of participants per tour. For this reason, it is necessary for us to incorporate the following cancellation policy: Groups of 5 or more must cancel at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled tour to receive a refund. Groups of 4 or fewer must cancel at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled tour. This goes for all members of your party. In the event that you do not cancel within this time period, you will not receive a refund. You will however be able to use the tour fee towards kayak rentals only at any time with no expiration date.
Cancellation due to weather: Coastal Kayak reserves the right to cancel any tour at any time if we feel that the weather or conditions present an unsafe situation. Of course any tours cancelled due to weather would result in a refund to all participants. We do not cancel tours in the event of light rain or drizzle. If there is any thunder or lightening we will cancel the tour. We are very knowledgeable about the areas where we do the tours. Sometimes it may be sunny where you are staying but we know that there is a thunderstorm moving in where we are going to be doing the tour and vice versa. We make the call on the weather. If you are not comfortable with this, we suggest that you wait closer to the time of the tour to make your reservation.

Coastal Kayak Return, Exchange, & Refund Policy for Merchandise

Need to return or exchange something you just received? No problem! It’s so hard to know which tee is going to look the best with your new stilettos. Please read through our policies below, and of course contact us if you have any questions. While we do everything in our power to make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase, please keep in mind that Coastal Kayak is a small kayaking business and therefore are unable to offer the same return and exchange policies that you’ll find at Walmart, or Amazon.com or other giant, enormous, galaxy-sized businesses. But they don’t have jellyfish T-shirts now do they?

Return/Exchange Policies:

  • Any worn, soiled, altered, washed, or customer-damaged items cannot be returned or exchanged and will be shipped back to you at your cost and no refund issued.
  • All clearance and marked-down items are final sale and are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
  • Timeline for returns/exchanges – You will be eligible for a refund only if the product arrives back to us within 14 days from the day the order was originally delivered. If we receive the product back 15-30 days of the day the order was originally delivered, you will be eligible for store credit to Coastal Kayak. If the return arrives after 30 days of the day the order was originally received, it will be refused.
  • Returns and exchanges received by us between 15-30 business days are only eligible to be returned for store credit.
  • All returns/exchanges must include a copy of the original receipt.
  • Shipping cost is non-refundable.
  • E-gift cards are non-returnable and non-refundable. Coastal Kayak is not responsible for lost or stolen e-gift cards.
  • Returns/exchanges will require the customer to pay for return shipping. Exchanges are also responsible for the new shipping charges on the exchanged item.
  • If your requested size and/or color is out of stock when we receive your package you will be issued a refund or store credit based on our posted return policy.
  • For refunds received within the timeline – you will be issued a credit memo stating the amount returned to your original payment method within 7-10 business days of us receiving your return. It may take longer to receive the actual refund from your card issuer. Outside the timeline you will be issued an e-gift card within 7-10 business days.
  • Your exchanged item will be shipped out to you within 7-10 business days of us receiving your returned item.
  • Please ship with tracking as Coastal Kayak is not responsible for packages lost by shipping carriers.
  • If you are in the area, we’ll gladly accept your returns and/or exchanges purchased on our website at our shop.
